Find forests that may be worth exploring.

Mushroom Radar turns many environmental signals into one understandable assessment, helping you compare areas before setting out.

How the assessment works

Recent rain and drying

Mushroom Radar compares signals including rainfall over the last 3, 7 and 14 days, temperature, estimated soil and air moisture, and drying pressure. A prolonged dry period can therefore lower the assessment for species that normally depend on moister conditions.

Forest, terrain and light

Forest type, terrain, elevation, slope and sunlight help distinguish areas that may look identical on a standard map. Coverage and precision vary by country and region, and uncertainty should always remain visible.

Season and the species you follow

The assessment adapts to season and selected species. When data permits, the result is shown as several smaller search areas rather than one large circle that implies equal potential everywhere.

NASA data and many regional signals

Mycoverse combines global data signals, including NASA data, with regional mapping and environmental information. Exact providers and model weights are part of our technology, while data quality and uncertainty are explained to users.

A better starting point – not a promise

Mushroom Radar highlights where conditions may be more promising. Weather, local variation and missing data mean the app can never guarantee finds. Image suggestions cannot confirm identity or edibility.
